Product QuestionsWhat is the recommended procedure for fitting the PVC 18 insert into an existing aluminium alloy base rail?Question by: Jeff Owen on 19 Feb 2020 10:58:00Hello
Thank you for your question.
Please see our Fitting Guide for Aluminium Fendering and PVC Insert; this can be found here: https://www.wilks.co.uk/marine/fitting-guides.html
Steps 10 – 12 should assist you with fitting the insert.
We do hope this information helps.

Answer by: The Wilks Team (Admin) on 25 Feb 2020 10:04:00Question by: Trevor Page on 1 Jan 2016 16:21:00Over the years we have supplied Prout Catamarans with a variety of aluminium extrusions and PVC inserts so there is a good chance that PVC 18 would suit your needs.
As always with replacement inserts we recommend that you first obtain a product sample from us to match up to your existing fendering to ensure that the correct product is supplied.
Free samples can be ordered through our website or by contacting our sales office directly.
The Wilks TeamAnswer by: Wilks Team (Admin) on 4 Jan 2016 09:29:00We got a sample of this, it is the same as what's on our fairline but much bigger, is there a smaller alternative ?Question by: IAN TAYLOR on 9 Nov 2015 09:02:00Hi Ian,
We do have a smaller profile but unfortunately it is a non-stock item.
The profile is called PVC 16 and further details can be found here: https://www.wilks.co.uk/marine/boat-fendering/inserts/pvc-16.html
We are sorry that we cannot be of more assistance with your enquiry.
