Traditional Range

We have created our latest range of fendering with traditional boating materials firmly in mind; thus capturing the beauty of wood whilst removing the maintenance!

The finished appearance of our Traditional Range produces a stunningly convincing woodgrain effect. Combined with the inherent qualities of PVC the Traditional Range provides the perfect alternative to traditional wooden rubbing strakes.

Having manufactured PVC fendering since the 70’s we can attest to the material’s suitability to the marine environment. Outstanding features of the Traditional Range which will strike a chord with all users are:

Our Traditional Range is manufactured out of 100% recycled PVC so not only do the profiles look good whilst providing great in-use performance but they actually reduce the volume of waste being taken to landfill... and of course saves trees!

The Traditional Range is available in a choice of two finishes:

1) Factory Finish - plain extrusion ready to be hand sanded in order to achieve the desired woodgrain effect. We recommend 40 grit sandpaper.

2) Woodgrain Finish - all the hard work has already been done meaning that your chosen profile simply needs to be fitted as per our regular range of fendering.

We feel that by offering this new range of products Wilks helps bridge the needs of maintaining a traditional looking finish whilst giving the levels of performance that are only achievable through the use of modern materials.

The Traditional Range provides durable and subtle fendering for wooden boats as well as offering a contemporary accent to modern builds.
