Custom Extrusions

Wilks are manufacturers of both flexible and rigid (uPVC) PVC profiles. Our inhouse Toolmaking Department allows us to offer a full and competitive service enabling us to produce our own dies and develop profiles with our own machinery and staff.

Our maximum sizes depend very much on the design and material of the profile. As a guide the maximum width for a flat, flexible profile is 175mm, for a flexible ‘D’ profile 80 x 63mm and a rigid PVC channel profile 80 x 25mm. When designing a new profile it is always beneficial to keep equal wall thicknesses wherever possible.

We will happily quote for your bespoke profiles, the information that we require for us to do so is as follows:

• a drawing or sketch with dimensions, alternatively a profile sample. Please highlight important dimensions, visible surfaces and if any special tolerances are required
• the hardness and colour of the profile
• the end use of the profile
• the required quantity
